Living Green Expo

May 2-3 is the Living Green Expo at the State Fair Grounds.  There are exhibits, workshops  and attractions.

The Living Green Expo, Minnesota’s largest environmental event, provides real solutions for people to live better, healthier lives with less impact on the environment. The two-day event, free to visitors, connects people who are interested in making a positive difference both in their lives and in their communities.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Combine and conquer your errands

Busy every day with errands after school or work? Start each week with an errand list. Plan one day after school or work to accomplish all your listed errands. You will feel less stressed and have more time to spend with your family and friends. Grouping errands together for one or two runs will also decrease wear and tear on your vehicle and will save gasoline!

Shut off the tap

While you are brushing your pearly white teeth, shut the water off. Statistics show that you can conserve up to eight gallons of water if you shut the tap off while you brush your teeth both morning and night.

Join us! VSTF meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m. in the Conference Room #118 of the Northland Building, located at 307 First Street South.

VSTF was established in 2008 through a grant from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
